With Clayxels you can sculpt and animate your characters with primitives that seamlessly blend with each other to form complex shapes, and all of that can be procedurally controlled via code too.
Anything you do stays interactive, so you can keep changing everything even while the game is running.
You can always just turn your sculpt into a mesh, even that is done interactively with the press of a button.
Clayxels c# scripts are no closed-source black box, anyone can dig deep and use the open C# APIs, expand the internal SDF math and make custom shaders for it.
Note: The main compute shader is the only obfuscated part, and that's to protect our hard work on the core.
